It also helps with timing to meet deadlines, this is because you can plan how long it will take to do things and when to do it meaning that hitting deadlines shouldn't be a problem.

This would mean the person will need know simple mathematics skills depending on their profession.
Some skills for some profession include:

  • Process information
  • Solve problems
  • Check answers
  • Understand and explain solutions
  • Make decisions based on logical thinking and reasoning.
Numeracy is something that every employee values because in the modern day work space, maths is used everyday, whether it involves working out the business cash flow to selling something to a customer.
