Before Jack was capped, Will did not think much of the Tripods. After Jack was capped, Jack's personality changed as well. He was no longer confident and loyal, but rather dull and quiet. This left Will with some questions about capping. " 'Why should the Tripods take people away and Cap them? What right do have they?' "Christopher 20.The Vagrant Ozymandias answered these questions for Will and his feelings about capping shifted, he did not want to be capped.
