We always have two or more players up the ield if we have possetion of the ball, and our transition is quick when attacking. Some elements that are not working is our defence. When we lose possession, we are a little slower to transition back into a compact zone defence. We could improve them by making sure our transition is quick, and also trying out a man to man defensive system.

This makes our offence rather one sided and means that one or two defenders can halt the entirety of our offence.
- We don't use vertical motion effectively. We tend to only think of moving forward and forget that we can pass backwards to draw out the defenders. If we did this we could stretch the defensive line and make it less compact; which would allow us to shoot more often.

In addition, they had a really nice pressure which we got panicked at some points.

Weaknesses: Not all of the teammate in the opponents did not have a movement which also connects with the transition part. Since they don't move around and staying at the same place all the time there will be an overload against our defenders. Even though they are attacking and someone intercepts the ball, they had a very slow transition.

For the first half of the game today, we played quite defensively, only scoring one goal, while the other team scored none. One thing I think we could've done was make use of the transitions more and apply pressure when defending. As we did do this, but not to a satisfactory level. We also could've have used a bit more width to find space for an open pass, as our teammates were often left stranded with no support when we were attacking with the ball. Therefore, the next time we play I plan to use more width and space when attacking especially during our transitions and to always apply pressure when defending, so that the opponent might make a mistake.

This is because whenever we lost the ball, the opposition would pass through in a triangle making us exhausted when pressuring.

I plan on improving in the second half by moving into space better, and moving around more. This is because there was not much movement when we had possession, we should have more longer passes to confuse and move the opponent to create space when trying to shoot.

Are there elements of your plan that are not working or could be better? If so, explain if not, what is working well?
- I think that our plan is too un-dynamic and is too predictable we use good players to move the ball up the field and then score off a small cross and as a result it causes our plan to be too predictable and makes the enemy bring players to double man our best player leading to us taking a long time to press forward.

The principles of play that were most effective in our game were:

- Depth: We used depth in our attacks in a way that allowed us to pass back. Which in turn allowed us to think and take our time to make calculated passes.
- Cover: We used cover in our defensive strategy to help delay and stop the attackers from being able to shoot. We also used the technique of jockeying to great effect when halting the attackers, this is because jockeying allows us to slow down the attack without committing fully to the stopping the ball.
