I changed the Shutter speed on the main home screen of the camera which then also changed the aperture because speed and amount of light go hand in hand. It was easy to change the shutter speed. Then as I looked at the pictures i noticed that the Faster the speed the less blur in the photo's therefore the higher quality or less noise in the photos. Also it makes the Aperture smaller and therefore less light in the picture which is why the last two in mine are so dark compared to the first. So as the shutter speed gets faster the photo gets darker but higher quality.

I would want a faster shutter speed in situations like Action pictures (Sports, Cars, jumping) or any motion that i want frozen and no blur. And Slower in light painting or any picture where i want a cool blur or over lapping time affect. You'd want to understand shutter speed and make it a priority because you don't want any pictures to come out over or under exsposed or not in foucus because you used the wrong speed. It really contols how the whole picture will turn out.
