The newest thing i did not know, this article taught me that not only colored people were treated unfairly.  Mohandas Grandhi was a brave leader of India. he fought for what he thought was right. The most interesting thing I read in this article was that Grandhi and his wife were both arrested  because Grandhi called for the British to leave India for good. This teaches us young kids that the world is full of hate and people shouldn't be that way.

"Gandhi grew up following Hinduism and espousing non-violence, fasting, meditation and vegetarianism." I believe that this is why he did what he did when he grew up. Also if he was not thought like that then he would not have had the thoughts that he did to help his people. 

In July 1914, Gandhi left South Africa to return to India. He supported the British war effort in World War 1 but remained critical of colonial authorities for measures he felt were wrong.

After being away from politics for a few years, he returned in 1930. he set out with a few followers. He set out with the salt march and tons of men were arrested for breaking the salt acts. He was called the great man. One day a Muslim did not agree with his ideas so he shot Gandhi.
