Power is shown when the author repeats himself on being confident and having control on his own soul. This poem is corrupt to me, because he writes about how he has been bludgeoned but how his mind has remained the same.

Throughout this play there is power, loss of sanity, and fear. Macbeth who is the main character is in line to take the crown but through the pressure from his wife kills King Duncan and becomes king. Soon he loses his mind and starts seeing the ghost of a man he killed named Banquo. He killed Banquo because the witches had warned him about being accused of murder by him. So he murdered Banquo and also gets two murders to kill the next two who are supposed to go for the crown. After he has them murdered he finds himself going to the three witches for help. He finds out his future and knows he needs to beware of Macduff so to punish Macduff he has his wife and child murdered which sends Macduff in a outrage, he fights Macduff and ends up killing him in the end. During all of this Lady Macbeth who is Macbeth's wife commits suicide from all of the guilt and pain from the murders and fear of the crimes her and her husband have committed.
