Because of this big movement many people didn't have to work as much because the machines were doing it for them. Today you can see machines everywhere you go.

Margret Knight was an unbelievably smart women who created many inventions and has over 20 patents. In the the 1800s less than 10% of "primary inventor" patent awards have were given to women. Margret Knight was a hero to all women out there who were to scared or simply didn't get credit for inventing. Margret Knights first invention was a a shuttle restraint system she was only a teenager at the time. However Margret Knight came up with an amazing invention no far after, she created blue prints to create a machine that makes paper bags. Although a man by the name of "Charles Annan" tired to steel Knights invention. However Margret Knight had very detailed blue prints that proved that it was her invention and not Annans. With out Knight being one of the first female investors/ who know were we would be today.

The main idea of Industrial Revolution was a point in history were everything started to take off. We were creating railroads for easier transportation and machines for factory's for easy use. Because of theses we today can make and transport things fast. We still use the railroads today who knows where we would be without them

The most interesting thing i learn was how farmers over produced goods. I find this funny and interesting because they were so excited to use new equipment that they over produced goods. Also something i found interesting was how the railroad over charged framers to transport their crops and goods. the farmers never got a break it seams.

Children were used in factory's and sweat shops because they had small hands and could reach places adults could not. Also since they were children the owners didn't have to pay the as much or maybe not at all. Today Child labor is banned and all in good reason, it was wrong making young children work in dirty and unsafe factories.

Something that i can still relate to today is easy transportation. Every morning i take the bus to school. I realize if the trains and railroads were never created who knows were we would be on transpiration today. We take cars, buses, and trains for granted because with out them we would d have no way of getting any where. We would have to walk everywhere of take a buggy for instance.
