         <description><![CDATA[<div>This genre study is meant for a fifth grade class, but could easily be adjusted for a sixth grade class as well. The reasoning comes from the developmental level of this age as described by Kasten. Cognitive conceit, the interest in seeing young characters survive on their own, and the moral dilemmas the characters face are all qualities of 10-12 year old readers. </div>]]></description>
