The process of asexual involves one parent, resulting in the offspring that are genetically identical to each other and to the parent. This process happens in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. During this process it goes through several different types of reproduction methods. Which include binary fission, fragmentation, and budding. Asexual reproduction can happen rapidly and has its advantages for different types of organisms. This advantage allows them to crowd out other organisms that reproduce more slowly.

The process of sexual reproduction involves both parents. The parents produce reproductive cells called gametes, which unite to form the offspring. Meaning they contain half the chromosomes found in other cell organisms. Which is produced by cell division known as meiosis. The process of sexual reproduction takes two gametes unite to fertilize an egg. After the egg is fertilized it then goes through the zygote process. And the zygote process is diploid cell that ahas twice as many chromosomes as a gamete.
