The education system has suffered from decades conflict although recent years have shown an improvement. Elementary school is divided into 3 levels of a six-year program.

In Congo corporal punishment is okay. Student coming to school late in class and for not doing is homework the teacher has a right to punish the student for doing something bad or not following school expectation and student can kick out of school. Student must come to school every day. And not using is phone in class. if a teacher sees student using a phone in classroom she has a right to take or break it. student in Congo are really respectful because they know. That help the student learn and do they homework every day. Sometime in Congo if the student fights the principal Can call police. Some student in Congo stay home because they got kick out of schools. If a student gets kick out of school he cannot come back with out is mother apologias the teacher. Now there is lot of kids give up.
