How is the setting in your novel a dystopian society?
The book Unwind is in a slightly futuristic world, where ipods are considered old at pawn shops. The US, not sure about the rest of the world, is corrupted by the government’s laws after the Heartland War. Kids from the age 13-18 can be taken apart and harvested for their bodies; if they are unwanted by their caretakers. And babies can be “storked” if the parents can’t, or don’t want to, take care of them. So long as they aren’t caught, that baby now legally belongs to the person in which the baby was left at their doorstep.
