It needs the physical presence of both the instructor and the student, with some elements of student influence over time, location, route or speed.

FOR EXAMPLE:
Remote Blended Learning (also referred to as Enriched Virtual)
In Enhanced Virtual blended learning, the student focuses on completing online coursework while only meeting with the instructor on an intermittent/as-needed basis.

This approach differs from the Flipped Classroom model in the balance of online and face-to-face teaching time. In the Enriched Virtual blended learning model, students would not see/work with/learn from an instructor face-to-face on a regular basis, but would do so in a 'flipped' environment.
