Scenario 1: Its 8th period and you feel the urge to skip class.Passive Response: Jessica: Gloria, I don't feel like going to class today, and I didn't even study for that test.Gloria: This test makes up like 50% of our grade, we cant miss this. We are going to class.Jessica: You are right, I should do the right thing and go to class.Aggressive Solution:Brian: Jessica, lets skip 8th period, that test is not a vibe.Jessica: I'm going to class today, I have to take this test and boost my grade up.Brian: NO! I refuse to take that test today. I'm going home.Assertive Response:Hasan: Guys, we should really skip class today. Its been a long day and I just need to get out of here.Brian:I'm going to pass, I have a really important test today.Gloria: Yea, I'm staying this test makes up a like 40% of my grade. I cant miss this and you shouldn't either.Jessica: I cant skip class today either, this test is just too important.Hasan: You guys are right, I should go to class and just take that test.

Scenario 3Opening Scene: Students are in the back of the classroom procrastinating while only two of their members are doing the work.Passive Response:Danny: Hey guys! Don't you think that we should get some work done, our presentation is due in like 3 days... so what roles do we all want to take on?Bri: Yeah I guess that's okay. What ever you guys what me to do, I can. How about Ray?Aggressive Response:Ray: We can start tomorrow, I don't want to do anything.*Ray is just hanging around, not really doing work*Assertive Response:Mike: I agree with Danny, we need to get our work done if we want a good grade. We need everyone working.Danny: Hey Ray, maybe you should pick a role. That way we can get work done faster.Bri: I'll be the scribe, i'll write down whatever is needed.Ray: I guess i could help too. So we can finish early.Danny: I'll be the group leader. I'll help everyone manage their time.Mike: I'll be the speaker, to help present the project.

Scenario: You are on the school's basketball team and your coach is really pushing for a winning season. Yesterday in practice, you twisted your ankle. It's swollen and painful to walk on. Your coach says, "Come on, we'll take it up and you can practice with the rest of the team."

Coach: alright boys, we need a good season this year. NO DAYS OFF! I'm tired of coming in last place every year. we're gonna grind for that title this season

player : yes I agree. forget about last season , This will be a new beginning. We need to work hard in order to achieve it.

Coach: exactly, so to start off strong, I need everyone to hit the gym and shoot 50 shots consecutively

player: (realizes he cant because of his sprained ankle) umm okay... lemme grab y shoes from the locker room

Coach: okay, hurry up kid

(Meets Dereck in the locker room)

Player: yeo (daps each other up)

Player: bro I sprained my ankle , im really not trying to worsen my injury. But I don't want to tell the coach

dereck:its all good bro just take some rest we will have a sub.Just go and be nice to your coach,saying u r not ready to play this season because of your injury.
