     HIGHLANDS:  Las partículas son   grandes e irregulares, y consisten en una variedad de minerales, incluidos los menos resistentes 
     LOWLANDS:  Las partículas son de tamaño mediano y de redondez intermedia, e incluyen minerales resistentes y no resistentes. 
     NEAR-COASTAL:  Las partículas son pequeñas y casi esféricas, y consisten principalmente en los minerales más resistentes, como el cuarzo.  
2.Tipos de rios:
     Rectos: Sinuosidad despreciable 
     Anastomosados: Poseen una serie sucesiva de divisiones y reuniones de la corriente 
     Meandriformes: Se da cuando la corriente presenta una serie de inflexiones a lo largo de su dirección.  
3.Secuencias
    Tipo Scott: Predominancia de facies de gravas masivas con imbricaciones de cantos y laminación horizontal. 
    Tipo Donjek: Caracterizado por gravas masivas, arenas con gravas y gravas estratificadas. 
    Tipo Saskatchewan: Sucesiones de niveles arenosos, granodecrecientes.
