There is definitely a relationship between health care and health status. " Access to comprehensive, quality health care services is important for the achievement of health equity and for increasing the quality of a healthy life for everyone. "( pg 5). Some people who have health care and don't need to worry about all of the little health problems that they have because they'll just go to the doctors. That's not how it is for everyone though. sometimes health care isn't affordable for some people. All of those little problems build up into big ones until they have no choice but to go to the doctors that they don't have enough money for. " Disparities in access to health services affect individuals and society. Limited access to health care impacts people's ability to reach their full potential, negatively affecting their quality of life. " (pg 6). " Lack of adequate coverage makes it difficult for people to get the health care they need and, when they do get care, burdens them with large medical bills. "(pg 7). People shouldn't be inhibited in their everyday life because they don't have the funds to access healthcare. They shouldn't have to fear going to the doctors because of the bills that will pile up that they can't pay. My dad was positively impacted by having access to good healthcare when he had a brain tumor that would've severely injured him or killed him but he was able to have the very expensive surgery that he wouldn't have been able to have without such good healthcare.
