Started in elementary school with computer lab classes twice a week working with the basic programs like Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. I grew up in Australia so the curriculum for using technology was different to what was expected her in the U.S. Back home in Australia it was required that third graders and up must attend typing classes twice a week. This is when we began using typing programs that taught us how to type faster without looking looking at the keyboard.
I moved back to America in seventh grade which was the middle of junior high. This is also where I had my first American technology class. It was more of a typing class rather then applications class.
It was during my high school years that I began to become more proficient with the use of technology as it had become more advanced from when I began using it in elementary school.

I also started becoming more familiar with certain applications or websites used for my job at an office.
I mostly work with filing but there are different applications used for online filing that I never heard of before starting this job.
One of which was kiosk. This online application is the heart and soul of our office so learning that was a different experience to what I was used to as I had previously only used computers for school purposes.

Now as a young adult/college student I believe I have become extremely familiar with how to use computers, and phones. I believe I just got lucky in the sense that I grew together with technology which is why it has become so easy to work with,
