Emma and Tom have been friends since forever. Since the dinosaurs were babies. Since the moon was a little lady. Since love was in progress to be defined.

Emma had always been by Tom’s side. Through each failed relationship and every heartache, she comforted and encouraged him to keep searching for "the one” who would bring true love to his life. Tom believed he would find someone "perfect."

One evening, after his latest heartbreak, Tom sat alone in his apartment, feeling emptier than ever. He had given up on the idea of finding real love. He had looked everywhere and failed. With tears in his eyes, he saw a small envelope in the flowers Emma had given him on his last birthday. He saw her handwriting and smiled. Love had always been there.

He thought he had lost everything, but then he found a note: you never looked closely enough.

Benny was a child with a unique perspective on the world. While other children saw a sky full of stars, he saw an endless map filled with secrets and pathways. Since he was a child, he had always enjoyed life in his own way, feeling emotions he couldn’t express with words. However, at school, Benny felt misunderstood by his peers and he couldn’t communicate the way he needed to. At the end of each school day, he went home not understanding why his view on life differed from that of the other children.

One night, he went out to the garden to observe the sky and focused on the details. Benny realized that the stars didn’t need to be identical, grouped together, or perfectly aligned to shine, because each one had its own brightness and place in the universe, shining in a special way.

Until that moment, he thought he had lost everything, but then he found a note: ‘You never looked closely enough.’

Written by Mahe MaJov.

Another day in the office, the boss breathing down her neck while her colleagues who were barely working, bullied her. She only talked to her computer, as it is a hacker’s best friend.
“This seemed to be my dream job. I left behind everyone I love and my home for this,” she murmured to herself, sighing.

She escaped her boring life by doing activities in the afternoons: learning languages and going to swimming lessons.
“It’s hard to find friends in such a big city,” she always complained.

She started a master’s degree that changed her life. For the first time in years, she felt the rush of blood and adrenaline that came with being a hacker, meeting people like her. But she had to stop.

Her illness had come back, stronger than ever. She could barely get out of bed. She thought she had lost everything, but then she found a note: “You never looked closely enough” – by drkrysSrng

James stood amid the smouldering ruins of his childhood home; a once-cherished haven now reduced to ashes. No sooner had the flames been put out than the full extent of the devastation became apparent. His mother´s beloved piano and the old rocking chair had vanished into thin air, leaving nothing but memories in their wake.

James found himself rooted to the spot, surrounded by desolation. “Everything is gone”, his voice was barely a whisper.

Little did he know that fate had other plans. His foot struck a metallic object, and with trembling hands, he unearthed a battered box. Inside lay a map, which would lead to his mother´s missing jewels, disappeared in strange circumstances. Despite years of painstaking searches, these jewels had eluded them, only to be hidden in the garden, a mere few yards away.

He thought he had lost everything, but then he found a note: “You never looked closely enough”

Pen Name: R2D2

His beloved bookcase, a sanctuary of stories, had been ravaged by the flood.

Hours passed as he searched through the ruins, and just as the sun began to set, he found a note, read it and looked closely, then he spotted it, a hidden compartment in the wall, slightly ajar.

The truth was, Raúl had reached his limit. He couldn’t take it anymore. For ten years, he’d been stuck in the same dead-end office job while dreaming of becoming an actor. Week after week, he worked nine-to-five, spending his paycheck on acting classes and auditions, only to face rejection every time.

At 37, he cursed himself for ever listening to his godfather (his grandfather, the filmmaker) who always told him: “Raulito, go after what you want. Believe in yourself.”

Raúl was exhausted from trying to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, convinced he didn’t have what it took.

In frustration, he opened his childhood memory chest. Through tears, he tore up photos of his school plays, smashed his makeshift Oscar from college, and discarded a framed picture of himself and with his grandfather playing “Lights, Camera, Action!”

He thought he had lost everything. But then he found a note:

“You never looked closely enough.” - Written by Sunflower Seed

Daniel, a clever teenager with a soft spot for puzzles and riddles, very rarely felt such excitement as when he came across that mysterious antique box at his neighbour's garage sale. Its intricate carvings adorning its surface which seemed to spell secrets from old forgotten times in a hushed tone.

No sooner had he arrived home than his attempts to open it began. But try as he might by pushing, twisting and prying, the box refused to yield. Only after many hours had passed did he finally give up, full of frustration for all his failed attempts. Setting the box aside, he decided to return it the next day. Little did he know that all the answers were right before his eyes.

Only as he was looking back at the box, now in a different light, did he notice the faint words engraved on the underside, the key to open all the box’s locks. There was something relentless about life.

Years and experience had transformed the struggle of his youth into a meek acceptance of the immutable reality that he had been learning to recognize. They had reached that point at four in the afternoon. Five hours later his sense of responsibility gave impetus to his steps when he faced the door of the operating room.

He met the eyes of the woman who looked at him through the glass. The rest was just data. The mouth expelled them, ignoring the heart that poured out through those dark eyes so eloquent.

- “Complications”… “delicate”… “did not resist”…

And her silence: “why?”… “my heart”… “my life”… “and now?”…

Sitting in the car, surrounded by darkness, he asked himself the same questions. “Why? My heart, my life, and now?”

That week Anna, his wife, and he, had decided to “take a break” to see things from a distance. Do we really learn over the years? A moment, a phrase, and it had been enough for him to realize what he really wanted and that everything was still possible.

As long as there is life, there is hope. Would life ever come with instructions?

He looked into the glove compartment for the house keys. A piece of paper hid them. His heart quickened when he realised that it was the last book she had given him. confusion overcame him. Once he decided they had better run, he convinced Brianna to escape and wait for him at the meeting point while he collected all their favourite mementos before leaving the house. Bree agreed and headed to the City Hall.

So Fergus climbed upstairs to the family room and searched for their favourite photo album, he was also hoping to find a few little pieces: an amber rock and a figurine that came from his mother. He found the album all right, the figurine too, but the amber rock did not appear to be anywhere.

He did not want to give up the search, but the warnings became ever more compelling, so he begged for his mother’s forgiveness and gave up on the search for the amber piece.

The following day when they were able to go and check their home, he climbed upstairs to the family room, where everything was as it was before the flood. He started to check all the cabinets, shelves, drawers and everywhere where the stone could have been hidden when he came across a tiny drawer, he never knew existed, in the writing desk…

He thought he had lost everything, but then he found a note: ‘You never looked closely enough’.

Amber
