This song presents the social issue of how trying to meet someone else standers to be consider beautiful and how painful this process is. It also gives off the idea that we are blind to this type of social and emotional pain it causes. The genre pop music is a genre of popular music. This musical genre comes from the musical background of Rock & Roll, which have very different sounds and is rarely a predictable sound. It meant a piece of music had a “popular” appeal. Pop music consist of several different type of other genres as well as blues, country, folk and others that are all kind of blended together to create this genre. That is why pop music is so widespread between different cultures in today’s world. I am slowly starting to listen to this type of genre more often. I feel I can hear and feel parts of my own culture in this type of musical genre and it is very catchy to listen or sometimes dance to ass well.
