There are certain rules that one should follow when doing this to ensure it is academic: 
- Always include you University email address (it does not look professional to use a personal one- your institutional affiliation is your calling card - use it! 

- Keep to the work count that the conference organisers give - this could be anything from 20 to 250 words. 

- Do not include personal information or anything that is unrelated to your professional academic profile . e.g My favourite colour is ... 

- Always write the bio note in the third person. 

Things to include:
