Knowing which material we would be engaging in may have helped us choose our supplementary placement. Fergal was helpful with his two sessions, but is the bigger issue that we don’t get enough research teaching to feel confident writing it. This has been a running theme since first year. Bringing us into the building is not what will solve the issue. At a doctorate level, we should be receiving a high level of teaching. If we’re learning philosophy, why not bring somebody with a doctorate in this? (Just a thought, not sure if some trainees  would prefer to only be taught by clinical psychologists).

I wondered whether the marking criteria has tightened over the years, makin it more and more difficult to get a pass.
