Breast cancer can be be passed through genetics or most likely can be caused by a genetic mutation as a person ages. I am currently below average for type two diabetes. While my grandma and great-grandpa had type two diabetes, no one else in my family current has it. I am also below average for vascular dementia. Vascular dementia can be a result of having diabetes, high blood pressure, and having a poor lifestyle. Risk factors for heart disease include having high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and smoking. Great-Grandma Minnie smoked her entire life, and most likely caused her heart attack. My Grandma Helen's hypertension was probably caused by her type two diabetes.
