The best way I think to overcome some of the challenges faced when working with joint custody families is insuring both parents feel included and positive relationships are built with both parents to aid in communication. I think for the child having a supportive consistent daycare environment will be best for them. I didn’t know much on joint custody but through the process of the assignment I’ve then been able to gain knowledge such as there is positives and negatives. I’ve been able to see that it’s the relationship between both parents of the child and having that understanding and communication between the two that will make the relationship stronger.
