Because of China's economic success, paper money was made. This was very helpful and was a very revolutionary invention because instead of trading or ious, they could give them lightweight money that was worth something immediately. It was so revolutionary, that it's even used today.

Because of the growing economy China also invented shipbuilding and the compass for trading and selling to other parts of the world.

In Islam, they already had enough money for government funding which caused the House of Wisdom. The House of Wisdom was a meeting place for the best and the brightest. Because of where they were geographically they could have many people from different countries. This helped to sustain revolution in thought because the more people came, the more government funding and the more people could learn.

The size of the empire was a cause for the revolution in thought because it allowed inventions and ideas to solve the problems that came with it and there were more people to advance and share ideas. For example, because China's population was so large that more jobs could be done and they had a more successful government. Another example is because of the large empire in Islam, they were able to have a larger government and larger funding. With the larger funding, they were able to get more money for libraries, tools, and the House of Wisdom.

Geography was a cause for a revolution in thought because it helped people to share and receive ideas. For example, In China, they invented the printing press and movable typing. they also created Shipbuilding and the compass to visit other places around the world. In Islam, there were a lot of rivers for travel, trading, and water sources. The rivers were connected to Africa Europe and Asia. Different cultures and ideas could be traded.

Religion was a cause for a revolution in thought because it caused people to learn more. For example, In Europe, they started to question the Bible and other authorities on how the world works. When they did this they created the telescope which gave them a better understanding of the universe and where the earth is in relation to the solar system. Another example is in Islam, their religion encourages learning and discovering new things. Also Because the Government in Islam was following their religion, which helped encourage learning, they created the house of Wisdom. This made the government want to fund this place of learning.
