She offers him help to start another one for him. After helping him, she gives him an extra blanket, then leaves in another direction. Later in the story, when the man is about to die, Persephone and her brothers find him sickly and lifeless on the cold ground next to his dog. Together, Persephone and her brothers carry him and the dog back to the camp fast enough to save the man's life. They then seek him medical attention, try to warm him up and save his life. Persephone is feeding the dog and making sure he is not hurt. When the man wakes up he is very thankful for everything they have done for him and his dog. She is an adventurous girl who appreciates nature and spends much of her time outdoors. She has two brothers who like the outdoors as much as her. They love to travel together to exotic locations. They go all over the world but felt it was time to go camping again.
