         <description><![CDATA[<div>Non of the protesting taxes helped the colonists but I think the best they did was fight against the Intolerable Act of 1773. I think that because of their protesting they got a simple list of rules that they had to follow, instead of the government having an unfair system and just telling all the protestors the same thing for days only then for them to to change the rules and get more protesting over another thing. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think the most successful method of protesting against taxes was The Sons of Liberty. Many courts were shut down because of people refusing to pay for stamps, and that was very successful. If you refused to pay for the stamps it would damage the economy, forcing the government to repeal the tax on stamps.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think that J. Quincy and J. Adams agreed to defend the British soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre because it would be fair to give them a trial even if the were not fired for self defense reasons. This trial showed that Boston was fair and gave them a trial otherwise I believe that there would’ve been unsettlement within the British troops.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think the event that really showed the colonists frustrations was the Boston Tea party. This movement was definitely effective and really showed just how much the colonists were upset. Throwing that much tea into the harbor probably cost a lot of money and the harbor had to be shut down in until Boston paid for all of the tea that was thrown away.</div>]]></description>

At least five men were killed in this, and I think just the fact that all their anger and resentment towards Britain just exploded during the Boston Massacre.</div>]]></description>

The Parliament let the Tea Act pass because the British East Indian Company told the Parliament that cheaper tea could encourage the colonists to give up smuggling in tea and so it would result in more tax money.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think that the Boston Massacre represented the colonists' frustration with Britain because of how colonists saw British troops as threats which lead to a colonist arguing with a soldier. The argument lead on to a crowd of colonists and a few soldiers fighting which resulted in the soldiers shooting and killing 5 soldiers.</div>]]></description>
