I felt that that was Jesus inviting me to pray in solidarity with my friend as a source of comfort and encouragement. Praise the Lord!

This space above my desk did not contain much, and yet I look at it every day. 

Accompanied with the cross is a painting of mountains against a vast sky. By looking at this image everyday, I am reminded and find comfort in knowing that God is always present in the valleys and mountains.
