American car industry has been an industry that been linked to american capitalism since the 1940's. Companies like Ford, Chevrolet and Jeep came into fruition because of the industrial age that really changed the economic landscape of the country. These companies revolutionized the working hour times in the U.S because they introduced the concept of shifts (8-hour periods). This meant that a lot more citizens could be employed at maximum efficiency thereby increasing production and keeping the labor costs in control. These companies also changed mindsets of the general public by promoting cars in a way where every family thought it was their birthright to buy and use cars for their convenience. This reflected in the ways Americans built their highways and it was portrayed as a symbol for speed, due to which the term flyovers was coined. This term was used for bridges built over other roads or bridges to avoid roundabouts since they reduced the speed of a cruising car. These companies also started sponsoring major events to get loyalties of people of certain states and over the period of time, they started to buy out other companies creating a monopoly. Working in their factories was hard work but that was the price to pay for capitalism.

Americans are known world-wide for their convenience food. The concept of street food was first introduced in the early 1920's when the people in the industries required a quick snack between shifts. It then spread on to the roadside burger/hot dog joints adjacent to the first highways in the '40's. Brands like McDonald's and KFC started to gain recognition. These were just regular restaurants at the start but then people started loving the concept of catching food while driving instead of packing it from home. Brands like KFC doubled-down on this trend and opened up various stores across the country. they ended up serving calorie high food abundant in cholesterol which results in obesity. Since the American youth didn't care much about it in the start, the quality of the food started to deteriorate. This came to light when the FDA actually administered the production facility of the meat and inquired about the farms they get the meat from. Since then there has been a strong control on the quality since it risks the safety of the american public. These restaurants have basically made food more accessible to the common public since the food isn't expensive and a normal family can enjoy an entire meal with drinks under $10. This was also coined as a success in the business world since these companies employed thousands of Americans.

The American cinema is at the forefront of cinematographic technology. The actors portray a lifestyle desired by all. It is all very sweet from the outside with all its glitz and glamour. The real story is that there are a lot of people who try their hand at acting, singing or directing but fail miserably because there is so much of competition. It is an industry had has revolutionized the media, politics, freedom of thought and expression and made people accustomed to different states of freedom. The wealth one accumulates if they get into the circle is a lot. it is because once a celebrity gets known, he/she can start to endorse brands and use the power of recognition to increase marketing. This medium can also be used to send social awareness messages and help empower the poor. It also serves as a haven for entertainment. Only the best entertainers get a chance to join the league. Since the early 20th century, actors have pushed the barriers of acting. First, by introducing voiced dialogues and then by increasing the danger levels of their stunts. The film industry is based on the west coast, specifically in California.

Wall Street has always been the center of trade in America. Since the start of the century, New York became the economical capital of U.S.A. It attracted the biggest names in the world to get them trading on the NASDAQ and Dow Jones. Since America is a capitalist country, there was heavy focus on the trade and free market theory. Immigrants from all over the world flocked to New York City because of the positives it provided. It was a center of investment which could later be used to invest in public works. Since the taxes were less in the USA, the government could attract plenty of businessmen and leverage their money for social security. These principals helped shape the democracy America is today. To the average american, this street represented freedom since there was a idealogical race between Soviet Union and the USA. This street helped employ americans all over the country since it had influence in the white house as well because of lobbyists. These lobbyists asked great discounts from the government and at one point of time, it was percieved that whever ran wall street ran Washington D.C. The people settled here ended up building neighborhoods like the Jewish Quarters etc.
