Tet is biggest traditional festival in VietNam. Before Tet holiday, my family usually prepares many things: clothes, foods,... and decorate my house. The traditional food of Tet is Chung cake, it's delicious and i love to eat it. On New Year's Eve, my family and I gather together to have a warm dinner, watch countdowns and watch fireworks. On the first day of New Year, I accompany my parents to visit my grandparents and relatives. I will give their best greetings to oldsters and receive lucky money. In the rest time of Tet, I will go to pagodas, with friends go out,...Tet is my favorite holiday because it is an occasion to enjoy delicious food, new clothes and receive very lucky money.

The full moon of August, in my hometown, is very beautiful, the moon is big and round, bright. On that afternoon, my mother prepared a tray of five fruits including bananas, grapefruits, watermelons, tangerines, persimmons, and apples that were taken care of, beautifully trimmed. At 7 o'clock in the evening, I heard the music "Tung Dinh Dinh ... Tung Tung Tung Dinh Dinh", the legendary song of my childhood, I and my friends in the neighborhood hurriedly rushed to the village's cultural house. Everyone carries a lantern of all colors and shapes, be it a fish, a star, or a lantern. When we got there, we sat in a row, watching a few musical performances prepared by the neighborhood, and then went up to receive the reward, even though it was only a pen, candy, notebook, with a few cakes, but we feel very happy. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, children eagerly join the bustling Doan Lan, holding star lanterns in their hands. In contrast, adults just enjoy mooncakes with their families, drink tea and chat. As for me, I like to go with my friends to see the lion dance, participate in activities that take place on the street. It can be said that Mid-Autumn Festival is a holiday I really like in Vietnam. In particular, my favorite is the procession of lights. Because the lantern procession is the most meaningful activity on the Mid-Autumn Festival.

My favorite festival is Mid-Autumn festival. It is one of the traditional holidays in Vietnam. Mid-Autumn Festival is on 15th August of the lunar calendar every year. It represents the family reunion ,we all come back home and eat mooncakes and talk together. The festival has many customs such as of moon contemplating ,lion dance, procession of star and holding parties with fruits and mooncakes. The children will dance ,sing, parade on the streets and carrying colorful lanterns of different sizes and shapes.
So I like the Mid- Autumn festival, it is a chance for me reunion of families and extremely fun, memorable.

My favorite festival is Tet holidays. Tet is the biggest traditional festival of Vietnam. Tet is usually from late January to early February. Before Tet we clean the house and decorate it with flowers like kumquat tree or peach blossom. Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Xoi, Mut , and sweets are must-have foods during Tet. In the Tet,People often buy themselves beautiful clothes to celebrate Tet.
Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. Children play around every spring, adults eat, drink and sing together.
Besides, Vietnamese people often go to pagodas and temples to pray for health, wealth and success.
In general, Tet is always the most important day of the year because it is not only a moment to mark the passing of the old year, welcome a new year with new hopes, but also an opportunity for the family to sit down and out together.

In Vietnam, people have a lot of festival but my favorite is Tet holiday. Because i have a long vacation, about 3 weeks and of course because i have a lot of lucky money. In that time, my family always work together and i love it. My family always prepares everything for Tet, such as peach blossom tree, candies, chickens, lucky money,... In addition, before Tet, member of my fam prepare for themselves. I often go to shop buy new clothes,new shoes,...; go to hair salon get new hair.... More specifically, we make " banh chung" together at home. we enjoy the moment watch a pot of banh chung together. During Tet, we spend time go outside, go to everywhere visit my relatives, give them best wishes , give lucky money for kids,.. .Tet is tradition festival in Vietnam, so i hope that Tet retains its meaning forever.

The most popular lantern is a star made with red cellophane. On the night of the full moon, the 15th August of the lunar calendar, children with their brightly lit lanterns will gather, deal out cakes and fruits. Excitement peaks when drumbeats ring out and the lion appears, playing with the children. They will then form raucous processions and tour their neighbourhoods singing songs. On the eve of Mid-autumn, I always participate in the parade in my neighborhood. It is extremely fun and memorable.

My festival is the Huong Pagoda Festival, which is held in Huong Son Commune, My Duc District, Hanoi. The Perfume Pagoda Festival is held because it is associated with the folk belief of worshiping Lord Ba. This festival lasts from the 6th of the first month to the end of the 3rd lunar month. During the festival, there are activities such as: offering incense for good luck; games: sailing, climbing; arts: Cheo singing, folk singing, dancing. I like climbing the most because it has a great feeling when conquering each step up and down to Huong Tich cave by yourself. I feel this festival is wonderful, it is not only a shimmering beauty of the river, the vastness of heaven and earth, but it also makes the human soul become purer and warmer than ever.

The festival attracts tourists worldwide to come and enjoy the activities. Buffalo fighting festival is annually and officially operated on 9th August in Vietnamese Lunar calender. Buffalo must be carefully cared for about a year. All buffaloes are male buffalo, hook fur, copper skin, thick back and extremely healthy. The first have a flag dance, very interesting. But the most enjoyable is the buffalo fighting. The buffalo were taken out by the festival organizer and started fighting. But, after participating in the competition, all buffaloes will be slaughtered. This activity takes place with the desire that people have a warm season, can exploit many fish and shrimp, healthy people and brings them safe voyages. So, I feel the festival very impression.

Bac Ninh is one of the provinces in Viet Nam that has many festivals, such as But Thap festival, Dau festival, Den Do festival, Lim festival, Phat Tich festival but my favorite is But Thap festival. It's held in Thuan Thanh district and lasts for two days on March 23th -24th every year. Festival is divided into ceremonies( such as worshiping and rituals) has the presence of a large number of people and tourism from all the over the world. I live in Quoc Oai, a town which is near Ha Noi center. Thay pagoda is the most popular festival in my hometown. The festival is celebrated on 7th March of lunar year in Quoc Oai, Ha Noi. The festival is occured from 5th to 7th of March and the last day is the main one. Praying for health, luck and success is the main activity of the festival. During the festival, tourists can climb up the Thay mountain or climb down the caves such as: Cac Co cave, Gio cave, ... Then, people visit the system of pagodas on the top of the mountain. In the afternoon, tourists can see the parade ritural named " Ruoc Kieu" around the mountain with traditional music, lion dance that people wear traditional clothes - a common activity in Viet Nam's traditional festivals. In the evening, puppet show will be organnized in the middle of the lake in front of the mountain. Besides, tourists can also buy handmade things or souvenirs and try series of local foods.
