I think the way he talked to us was really easy to understand.
I have learnt a lot about ''Guernica'' as : the date it was painted, how and why did it travel from one place to another, how was art seeing in those times, some meanings about the composition of the work and the influence it has left us nowadays.
I conclusion, for me that i don't like so much museums I think that in a small place as there were the 2 trucks we have been, there's a lot of content that he has explained us really good and that he has made me enjoy and learn something that usually does not atrract my attention.

Well, this trip, open my mind to take a look back on the history of the 19 century, I learn so much about the amazing events in history, and in this case the wars, mainly the civil war of Spain, in which the people suffer a lot of hunger and death. When the guide of the museum explained a little bit one of the meanings that people think of the Guernica, I could understand what it represents not only for Spain, also for all the world, this painting travel along many of the historical conflicts, that's why it visit a lot of countries. Guernica is a symbol of the whole world, and the painter (Pablo Picasso) a genius of his time, because It only takes to him 35 days to paint it.

It was a very interesting excursion, since I did not know much information about the "Gernica" and the explanations were very understandable. I did not know that this painting had so much history and had been in so many different places in the world, this was what surprised me. I also really liked the different gernicas that other painters had done in different ways.I also did not imagine that this painting was as big as he explained to us. And what I liked the most was when he explained to us how they restored the painting after the graffiti they had painted.

The exhibition we went to was very interesting in my opinion, the man who showed us and talked about the painting of Guernica, did it in a really interesting and pleasant way. I didn´t know much about the Guernica, so almost everything he told us about, was new for me; but only some of it surprised me some way. The Guernica was painted by Picasso in a month, it was an assingnment they purposed him that he didn´t accept at first, but when the Germans bombed the city of Guernica, in País Vasco; he accepted and painted this situation of war. Another thing I didn´t know about it, is that the Guernica traveled a lot though different museums, even to New York where it stayed for years because they thought Picasso was a spy, and he couldn´t see his painting again. After his death the painting returned to Spain in a secret operation.

For me, this tríp is very interesting and informative, because apart of explaining to us the guernica, they explain us the history of why was created, some of the life of Pablo Picado (the painter of the guernica), the meaning that has and the museums in which has been. If I had to say something impactating for me about the painting would be when was in Italy in the middle of the Street and when in a museum put "barniz" in the painting.

Andrés Pérez Ortiz

This excursion has been very interesting. I think sometimes we don’t give art the importance it deserves but in this excursion we’ve known I little bit more about the process it took to do it and it’s relation with history. One of the things I learnt was through all the places the work of art has been and how much it took to take it back to Spain but fortunately nowadays we can see it in Madrid.
Carla Álvarez González.

The trip was really interesting, the guy that explain us everything (Nil) was so friendly let us enjoy the painting and its history that in fact is longer and stranger than I thought. Also all the cabin was so well organise, really good videos and if someone ask something Picasso, the painting or its history he can answer you, does't matter the question and more important than that he show you evidences that have there. Something I didn't know about Picasso is that he was acussed of being a Russian spy in America. Something I didn't know about the Guernica painting is the fact that it was move so much and in really bad conditions, for example, being expose outside of a building or being graffitied by a nowadays history teacher in an American university. In conclusion I would like to say that the trip was fine and I have recommended it to my family because as I enjoyed it I'm sure more people would do.
