Observation 2: I noticed that one of the strategies used in the text is that the text describing the character is underlined. 
Observation 3: I noticed that in some areas of the passage, there are stars.
Question 1:I wonder why some things are stared.
Question 2: I wonder why so many words ar circled.
Opinion: I think that the text should be marked up more; I think that there should be more summarizing. The main character doesn't have a ride home. So that may mean he doesn't have a car or is too young.
2.) The keyterms are cirlcled because they are the main points. They are circled because it helps us figure out what the story is and what place it takes in. Because some of the words are slang words.
3.) The parts that are stared mean you wan to go back to it because it may bu important. 
1) How does pausing to summarize even help.
2.) Do you star words or sentences.
-I think these strategies help understand the text.
