What is it?

Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that takes place over digital devices such as smartphones, computers, and tablets. It involves using the internet, social media platforms, messaging apps, online forums, or gaming communities to harass, threaten, or intimidate someone. Cyberbullying can include spreading false information, sending hurtful messages, sharing private or embarrassing photos, making threats, or excluding someone from online groups. Unlike traditional bullying, cyberbullying can happen anytime and anywhere, reaching the victim even when they are not physically around the bully. It can also spread quickly and widely, making it harder to escape or control. The anonymity of the internet often makes it easier for people to engage in cyberbullying without facing immediate consequences.
