I love Rap, typically able to demonstrate the artist's ability to form lyrical rhymes and/or present a smooth and understandable flow but in the sub-genre Mumble Rap,which holds our Rap music of today hostage, is the exact opposite. Usually repeating one line or statement over and over with no change at all, at many times taking lyrics from other known Rap artist. Many, like me, would say that Mumble Rap is destroying the music industry and leads many young men and women to believe that they all can become the next big rapper. Obviously this is not the case but for some odd reason many listeners love this type of music. As I said in my report it may be because many of the listeners can relate to the problems that the artist talks about.
