I remember being around Graham when he was a little puppy. He was so sweet, cute and playful. I also was able to see him when he started to get bigger. Graham was my first real introduction to Curry. My first time on campus was accepted students day, and a very kind man saw me looking at his dog and asked if I wanted to pet him. I went up to him and learned all about Graham, then the man introduces himself. Of course, it was Jay. I was embarrassed to have met his dog before our school president, but he was unbothered and kind. Jay is the human embodiment of Graham, always kind and smiling, and such an important part of the Curry community. We will miss you so much Graham 💜

I am an international student, and I had always hoped to meet Graham. I had only seen him on Curry College's social media, and every week I asked students if they knew where I could find him. Sadly, I never got the chance to meet him. This morning, I learned he wasn't on campus, and just a little later I received the email about his health. Even though I never knew him personally, but This came as a shock to me.. 🥲He touched my heart from a distance.

Having the opportunity to be one of Graham walkers a few years ago was by far so impactful for me as a student. I was going through a lot at the time and being able to spend time with Graham allowed me to look forward to something and to have companionship. From playing fetch with his ball, bringing him to Gofi for training to seeing him grow as one of the best boys I know!

I will never forget how the faces of my students lit up when Graham, right on cue, entered our Child Development class. We had been discussing the lessons children learn from their pets -- #1 unconditional love. Graham gave that gift to our entire Curry community. In return, students, faculty, and staff embraced Graham with the same love. My heart goes out to Jay and Cyndi, and to all whose heart was touched by Graham. Last year, after losing my first dog (and THE dog who made me love dogs, after being terrified of dogs as a child), I was heartbroken... but seeing Graham and getting to pet him and watch him with our Curry community brought me so much comfort. Graham has a kind, gentle, playful way about him that makes everyone feel instantly welcome. I am sure we will carry that sweetness in our hearts and in all the parts of Curry going forward. This was the day when my friend Willem and I first met Graham! He is and will forever be the sweetest pup. Jay was taking him on one of his first walks on campus. I only met Graham twice but I really loved him. He was sweet and cute and full of personality. He will always be the best curry campus dog.
