This one is obviously VERY controversial and HEAVILY biased, so the goal here would not be to tell students what to believe but to have them look for biases in this post and look into who posted it. Are they a reliable narrator?

Very similar purpose as B-5, but also looking more at the colors used and the ways which this video is trying to appeal to viewers (how do they get your attention?)

What is the significance of this?

This one is very, very silly, but I think is a perfect text to use to show that humans have always persevered, and that much of our culture, even our memes, is around that perseverance.

Mental illness, navigating high school, and queer identities.

I would not actual have students watch the whole video, but this YouTube channel does very good literary analysis of films, books, and shows.

Would only show small segments of this video at a time.

Not necessarily Social Studies, BUT if I were teaching a class on anthropology, he has enough videos about the history of hominids and primates that it would work well for an anthropology or class about pre-modern history!

Overall though. Very educational I love his videos.

Representation is important, and it's also important that people have a role model to look up to. Americans who are in minorities, especially non-black racial minorities and queer minorities, don't often have those role models. Teaching this video would aim to change that.
