Jordan River Anderson, was a young boy who was from Norway House Cree Nation in Manitoba. Jordan passed away at the age of 5 year old, due to lack of health problem. Jordan spent most of his life in the hospital while government disputed who paid for his-home care.

Jordan Principle ensures First Nations children are able to help with what they need, when they need it. First Nation are usually left with waiting for support, they desperately need or even denied on supports. This includes education, health, recreation and culture and language. Jordan Principle helps First Nation with the needs they need. Communities partner is important because when we become one, everyone helps others in the community, such as search and rescue we have in Baker Lake. Helping out schools for sports and those that travel for any events.

Holly
