I feel that the line is when a teacher could not allow the class to function with out technology. A teacher should use technology as a way to enhance learning. There needs to be a balance.

I think the line should be drawn when the teacher is able to have a good balance of teacher instructed work and individual work with technology. In my opinion it should be 30-40% technology use in the class and the rest ran by the teacher for a more personal learning experience.

I think it really depends on the grade level your dealing with. lower grade levels like K through 3rd should have less interaction with technology. Simply because at those ages it's already hard to hold their attention so by overloading them with technology I think It could distract them a lot more and they won't be able to focus. Also exposing kids to too much technology can seriously damage their developing eyes with all the blue lights that are emitted.

Cayden,
I get it girl! Technology is overtaking much of our world today, and that can be good or bad. It just depends on your perspective. I think that it is up to you as the teacher. You know how much time you and your students will be productive using technology. You will know the line once you know your students. The more you use technology within your classroom, the more you know your limits. Just give it time and get to know your students!
