Introduction to Training Engineering: Following the main talk, Mr. Mhammed Drissi provided a glimpse into the world of training engineering, sparking an interactive discussion guided by Mr. Abdessamad El Omari. Mr. Youssef Briach skillfully summarized the key takeaways from the session.

Collaboration for Improvement: While time limitations prevented a full workshop, the seminar fostered rich discussions among educators and professionals. Collaborative exchange of ideas on distance learning and training engineering challenges and solutions proved valuable. The collective knowledge of attendees promises to shape the future of professional development and enhance distance learning practices.

A Successful Event: This well-organized seminar deserves recognition for bringing together diverse perspectives and encouraging meaningful dialogue, ultimately serving the betterment of education.

On Monday, April 1, 2024, I participated in a field training session at Imam Malik Preparatory High School. This session took a different approach as instead of delivering a traditional lesson, the group of teacher trainees, including myself, were tasked by the ICT teacher to give a presentation on raising awareness about Cybersecurity and safe internet surfing practices to students from both the Common Core and Second Year Baccalaureate levels.

Presentation on Cybersecurity:

The presentation was conducted using a projector, allowing for clear visuals to accompany the discussion. We began by defining the internet and highlighting its numerous benefits, such as access to information and communication opportunities. However, we also addressed the disadvantages and dangers associated with the internet, including cyberbullying, identity theft, and exposure to inappropriate content.

Discussion and Q&A Session:

Following the presentation, we engaged the students in a discussion about their experiences and concerns regarding internet usage. This interactive component allowed students to share their perspectives and ask questions about specific cybersecurity issues they may have encountered. The Q&A session provided an opportunity for us to address their queries and provide guidance on safe internet practices.

Presence of the Host Teacher:

Throughout the presentation and discussion, the host teacher, Moulay Omar, was present, overseeing the session and offering support as needed. His presence provided reassurance and guidance, ensuring the smooth running of the session and the effective engagement of the students.

Conclusion:

Overall, the field training session on April 1, 2024, was a valuable opportunity to raise awareness about Cybersecurity and promote safe internet surfing practices among students. The presentation format, accompanied by interactive discussion and a Q&A session, facilitated student engagement and encouraged active participation. I am grateful for the guidance and support provided by the ICT teacher and the presence of the host teacher, Moulay Omar, which contributed to the success of the session. This experience reinforced the importance of educating students about Cybersecurity and equipping them with the necessary skills to navigate the digital world safely.

Upon our arrival at COM School, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and given access to the extensive array of digital materials available in the mobile library. It was an enriching experience to witness firsthand the innovative technologies and educational resources that support remote learning. This visit not only broadened our understanding of digital learning platforms but also inspired us to further integrate such tools into our own educational endeavors.
