I thought that the ending was a sad moment for the families. I especially feel sorry for Peter because Dussel blames Peter for it all because he accidentally knocked over the lamp making a commotion and he thinks that someone was in the building and heard it. Throughout the whole play, they are all anxious about getting caught and when the time comes when they get caught they have this feeling of hope because they feel they can survive this.

In my opinion, the ending was rather sad. I think that it was over all upsetting that the Franks, Van Daans, and Mr. Dussel, and how they were all taken by the Nazis. What makes it even more displeasing is that they had survived for so long, and so close to liberation, all to be captured, and all the while half of the more nervous characters (Mr. Van Daan and Mr. Dussel) were blaming everyone else or outside sources for most of the problems throughout the story. Overall, I was left with an overall displeasure with the ending.

In my opinion the play was alright. It's not the best because a lot more could have been added at the end, a lot was left out, and there was constant arguing but other than that the ending completely sucked. They could have at least came up with a few scenes showing Anne at the concentration camp or something with Margot and Mrs. Frank. Not only that, they could have added more to what Mr. Frank's reaction was when he found the diary because he didn't really say much about it and I highly doubt that's all he said.

I could tell who were friends of the family and how they acted. I also thought that the problems in the story had a main role because it showed what kind of people they were inside. Mr. Vann Dan stealing the bread triggered Mrs. Frank. The only part I didn't like was how the ending stopped there should have been more narration of how they died. Promptly who survived as well and how their life went.

Overall I liked the play, especially how it focuses on how Anne captures life. The ending could've been better than how they ended it.

I liked the play in the beginning. It was very interesting and I liked how it really showed the characters personalities. But I didn't like the ending . This is because it was almost like the author didn't have time to make it any longer so they tried to just put something together. It just ended so fast and didn''t really go deep into after the anex whhich could have been alot more interesting.
