Basically the article reads that the Mexican hymn belongs to the US and we have to pay every time that is played outside the country.

Debate: I will start asking questions about how they fill with the article and if they think it is true.

Research: in teams the students would search for information to convince themselves and other people that the article is false. Each team represents and investigates one aspect of the CRAP model and would write the evidence in post-it´s. In order for the kids to know what exactly to look, I would provide them with specific questions related to the concepts of the CRAP model.

Conclusions:

Communication is a very important part of our condition as social beings, we see communication as a tool to build bridges towards new goals. Media Literacy can be widely used in order to reinforce communication between people with a common goal. In Mexico during the earthquake disaster last year the population of the city were instantly in mobilized through a big quantity of groups in different social media which led to rescue groups, donation of food and social support. One specific example in my city Queretaro, was a group of Pokemon Go players, which organized a donation event with all the players and communities they knew, they actually drove the donation directly to the Mexico city and posted pictures during the trip (since there was a common distrust feeling towards the government).

The main problem is that the school has a mobile devices zero policy at school, also it is forbidden to any minor of 13 years old to have any kind of social media account, we can´t do anything unless one kid says something to any authority. The only thing that we can do in this cases is to send an e-mail to parents reminding them the rules of our school but parents are neglecting this and they are actually doing formal complains about cyberbullying when we the school has made very clear that it is forbidden that a minor has a social media account.

The simple fact of giving it a name and recognizing its existence promotes a feeling of empathy towards kids that are not involved in the cases and a feeling of security and relation for those that are the objective of cyberbullying. Students learn emotional tools in order to ignore or respond to this cases and they don´t feel alone and defenseless any more. The first time that I want to mention is that I just found out that Mexico is number 1 in sexting in Latin America (2016), according to the article "36% of 10 thousand minors declared that they have sent images of sexual nature, and 10% sexual messages".

In 2013 an initiative was presented to the parlament in order to conisder the issue and only until 2016, laws were created to sanction this sexting, so we are pretty new at this.

The law now specifies that:

If you share whitout consent any private sexual material you can go to prision from 3 to 6 years and a bail of equivalent to 700 to 1200 days of salary, if the affected person is over 18 years.

If the affected person is a minor, you can go to prision from 6 to 12 years and a bail of 800 to 2000 days of salary.

Also other charges can be attached like child pornografy or secret revelation.  It also specifies that if the person that shared the files are part of a government institution that person will be fired and banned from 10 to 15 years form any position as a functionary in the government.
