Today we are here with our reporter Jacopo Lunardi to talk about a terrorist attack that happened on 11th September 2001. An event that affect the life of many people because the number of victims is very high. In this day we remember all the victims of accident. I now turn the floor over to our reporter.

The Twins Towers were the tallest building in New York City. They used to attract 70.000 tourists and commuters every day. The whole building was made between 1966 and 1975 and it used to have the tallest skyscrapers in the world. The idea was suggested by David Rockefeller and his brother Nelson. The western part of the World Trade Center site was under the Hudson River. During the 1967 there were approved several changes to this place to allow the Port Authority to acquire land.

Our reporter Lunardi Jacops has been doing a reportage regarding the events that occurred on September 11th, 2001. He's been researching a lot of information and clarifications about "al-Qa’ida", a Pan-Islamist militant terrorist organization led by Sunni Jihadist. 19 of them have been hijacked and crashed four USA commercial jets. Two of them have been crushed into the WTC (World Trade Center), one into the Pentagon and the last one into a field in Shanksville.

I'm here, in Manhattan, in front of the Twin Towers. It's the 11th september 2001, this morning at 8:46 p.m., somethinng is about to happen.

The first plane is here! The first plane is crushing on the Nothern Tower of World Trade center! Then...Oh, it is coming the second! The second is hittin the southern one! The panic is everywhere! A lot of people are dying in this terrorist attack!

It has been a terrible experience! Two airplanes have it hit the two towers of world trade center. In 1 hour and 42 minutes both towers have collapsed and the debris and the fire have caused the destruction of the other buildings. The dead are about 3000 and the injured are 6000. I've seen too much innocent civilians dying because of this attack.

I've never been so scared about something in my entire life. I've felt a deep sense of grief for all the people that were involved even I've never known them. We've seen the Planet hit the towers but noone would have never thought that something like this would happened.

Now, since the incident they're trying their best to find out what actually happened , Who and what truly cause the hijack of the two planes that days.
