First of all, I am all catched by her word "you have to be passionate about what you do". Here, she explained that we have to be passionate in whatever we do as we only live our life for once. The only way you live your life is to be passionate because if we passionate we can dedicate ourselves to work harder towards the goal. I would like to highlight about we don't need to worry when things don't go well. We all know everybody has different situation and circumstances and there are times when things dont go smoothly. So just be faith in whatever we do! 💪💙 We shouldn't worry whenever we fall down because we are are the only one that should pick ourselves up. We all make mistake so usually we have to learn from our mistake to get better.

Lastly, you dont have to mind what people say that will underestimate you, just do what is on your lane and you will make it through! 😘

The moral value of this story is life is short and you have to make the best of it 💜💛💚🧡

The first activity that was assigned is to post about parts of speech. I learnt a lot through parts of speech especially when I have left my school year, my grammar has been a mess and I cannot differentiate any parts of grammar speech. But when we were asked to post about parts of speech, I could see the differences between noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb, preposition, conjunction, and interjection.

The second activity was practice on LIRA test, I chose to do about inspirational story by Michelle Kwan. This really helps me in improving my hearing skill as we were needed to listen to every speech by Michelle Kwan and we have to summarize the speech.

The third was a roleplay video where me and my group mates have to make a video about giving advices to a friend that have a family problem and she wants to study while having a part time job as a way to help her family. This activity has actually helped my confidence level in speaking. It also helps me to spit out what I felt without any doubt.

Next activity was about posting a video what I did during my mid semester breaks. By posting a video to public, it really encourages me to speak in front of everyone with no worries as I realized that everyone have the rights to speak out anything they wanted to.

Lastly, we had to make a video on promoting famous popular food and special food in Kedah.

2. Do you think the video uploads in Facebook have helps you in improving your speaking skills? How?

Uploading video on Facebook have really helps me in improving my speaking skills as in it boost up my confidence level to speak in English with my friends. During the recording of all the videos, we were needed to speak in English with each other. Basically in Malay’s taboo, someone who speaks English tend to show off their ability in English. When in fact, there is nothing wrong to speak in English among your friends as English is the most commonly spoken language in the world. When me and my friends spoke in English, we put aside every mistake in grammar as long as we understand what we wanted to convey.

3. Describe your “Week Without Walls” (www) video project. How did the process of working on this video help you to become an independent learner?

www video project has helped me to become independent learner because I need to do everything on my own without any help from lecturer. I also discovered new mesmerizing places in Kedah that I have never been to. I became an independent learner especially when I had to use Waze phone application to go to few food stall. This www project gave me lots of new education and we don’t really have to rely on classes only when we can do online classes. I am so agree with the idea of www.

4. Are you satisfied with your performance in ELC 121 especially in your speaking skills?

Afterall, I am so satisfied with my performance in ELC 121. ELC 121 taught me to improve my speaking skills and also to expand my knowledge in English. I also learnt again on how to use basic skills in speaking.
