This allows young trees a guaranteed life span and the forest will regain full maturity after around 30-50 years.)
Explain: How does this strategy help deforestation, how is it sustainable (e.g Loggers choose only wood that is highly valued, such as mahogany. Selective logging is sustainable because other trees and plants do survive in the logging process and over time can allow the forest to recover.)
