It's incredible, but it's a large struggle. It would be painful, carrying the water, and walking in such  harsh conditions. I think it would be hard, you would sweat, and become tired from carrying the water. Your shoulders would be sore, and your feet would ache. It could be a possibility that you would drink the water.  There are things in the world that you hope you will never have to do or feel...and this is one of them.

The pain on your back and shoulders from carrying a bucket full of water each and every single day. It's one 🤬 of a job and responsibility. You'd probably really sweaty and thirsty, maybe even tempted to drink the water from the bucket. Well not all of it of course. Also you can't always show up with the bucket exactly full of water. There are chances that you can spill a portion of the water if you trip or either your legs give out. At some point you will probably not even show up with water. Also the fact that the your are carrying a bucket that weighs a lot and the heat added is not a good combination. Not everyone can do this so Nya is really strong. Imagine carrying a burden on you each day. Your family relying the biggest responsibility for you. Mess up once and a rush of guilty will slap you. Also you probably might want to make it quick but careful because the slower you walk and complain the more pain and heat will get to you. Anyways that's all I'm going to say. I would also probably spill the whole thing on the way back, I would also not be able to walk because my feet would be in so much pain from all the thorns. Ferthermore I think I would just end up wearing peices of wood on my shoes so i wouldn't get thorns in my feet. In addition I think I would fall asleep while carying the bucket if i had to walk for more then 6 hours. Or if I didn't fall asleep I would get attaked by a lion or some wild dogs and they would tear me to shreads. Finally I think naya is increadible for carrying all of that weight every day in that heat for her whole life. She must have amzing stamina and be insanely strong. Even though it's' morning, the sun is already high, and the heat, and the heat combined with the weight of the bucket is making it hard not to just quit, or even just dump out a little of the water. But, water is as precious as gold (and just as heavy), so you have to make sure you don't spill a drop. You lower the bucket for just a moment, and rub your sore shoulder. You hold your hand up to shield your eyes from the sun, and look out to the horizon. You've walked this route before, and you know you have around an hour left, but you look anyways to see if you can see home. You're sure that school has started by now. You'll have to go another day. You take a deep breath and heave up the bucket again. Your family is waiting at home. They need the water for crops, and cooking, washing and drinking. If only the water was closer, all your problems would be solved, your inability to go to school, your sore shoulders, but you can't move rivers. To have the responsibility to have to do such a hard task,  and the pain on your shoulders and head. When you are in the dessert all day there is no food and the only water is in a bucket on your head.  Walking all day in the hot heat,  you could get sun stroke. Also if you get heart like you break a leg or something you are a long ways away from help. With the heat of the sun beating down on me and the combined weight of the bucket on my shoulders it would be very hard not to take a rest, but the sense of survival would keep my going. It would be excruciatingly hard. Every step that you took the bucket would press harder and become heavier on the top of your head. Your feet would begin to throb and it would feel as if you had weights on the souls of your feet. Even as you continued to over heat, the pain of the ruff path under your heals pulled you to the ground and thorns jabbed into your skin you would keep moving because you know that the water that you bring home will keep your entire family and you from being without water for too long that you wouldn't be able to get more. I don't think I'd be able to do it for even a full hour so the fact that she has to do it for 12+ hours is incredibly skilled and saddening at the same time. The realization that the bucket of water is what's keeping my family alive would consume my mind and I would probably start to lose it. I admire Nya's determination and stability. The weight of the bucket would feel like it's crushing you down as you tread along in the hot dessert, your skin burning in the process but knowing that this is what will keep you alive gives you the determination to continue. You push past the feeling of exhaustion that's slowly taking over until you finally finish your journey home.

Having to go every single day, in the burning heat of the desert, for at least half the day is something people here don't have to do. We have water available in our homes at the simple spin of a faucet. It would be painful, as well, having to hold the same bucket of water for hours and hours, trying not to spill a single drop because your life may depend on it. Your skin would burn from the sun, yearning for some shade to shield yourself from the rays. You'd be wishing to be home, wishing the water source was closer and more reliable. However, I hope that with every step, there's some sort of reassurance, like the thought that these hours of work are enough to save your family from dying of thirst. You'd have to give up your free time to do the things you love, your time for classes, and your energy just to get that bucket of water.
