Hope can be motivating because it can give you a sense that something good will happen to you eventually; you just have to wait patiently and keep a good mindset about it. It is very important to always remember that eventually there will be a silver lining. Hope can be misleading because you may think something good will happen to you when in reality it will only get worse or never come true. After you find out that it won’t happen, you are more likely to just give up and feel defeated. When two people face all odds and oppositions together, it creates a shared level of trust. Often times, when you go through some sort of hardship or odds together, you see the very best and the very worst of each other, (and if you can take someone's worst and still care for them, then there is a strong bond) as well as the fact that it will open up opportunity to look out for each other. whether this is family staying together, or two friends, or partners,  sharing experiences together and being there through the best and worst definitely makes a strong bond.  -LH

Hope is a very motivating thing because it drives you to do things you may not want to do in a rapid and efficient manner, an example of this would be studying really hard (even though it might be strenuous or boring) in the hope of reaching your goal of acing a test. You would not want to study, but in order to reach your goal of getting an A on the test, you have to do the painful task of studying. Hope can be misleading because if you work really hard and do not receive the “amazing” outcome you believed you would get, then it leaves you crushed, depressed, and unmotivated to work towards a timeconsuming goal ever again. Hope can be very helpful in encouraging you, but without the desired outcome it could crush you. An example of hope being misleading would be studying very long and hard for a test to try and get an A on it, but still receiving a low B, this would leave you very unmotivated to ever study that hard again because you would feel that there is no point. This is something I didn't really do. I was only in the ski and snowboard club and lacrosse. This is one of my regrets because I wanted to be in other activities but I was scared of doing a club alone that's why I didn't really listen to the advice.My freshman year would have been different if I joined more clubs because I would have met more people in the other grades. I also believe it depends on the relationship of the people. For example one would be murder, obviously someone who commits murder will most likely never be forgiven but I also think as a person we all have different points of view on what is acceptable and what is not. Some might find cheating on a partner very unforgivable and some might talk through it and work together to fix their relationship. Everyone has different standards of forgiveness, everyone thinks differently and we all have different opinions on multiple topics of forgiveness. When people ask for forgiveness it is usually from a person they love, they want to be forgiven but it all depends on that person's morals and what they think is best for them. In terms of what makes human beings more developed in comparison to basic animals is the thinking process of the human brain. The stunning possibilities in the variability at which human beings could act, combined with the relationships which humans can create with the environment around them and other human beings allows for us to seem more developed than animals in terms of abstract thinking and the enhanced ability to reciprocate in a variety of situations. As to what basic animal instincts appear in regular life, there is variety, for instance the endeavor of survival or the act of self-fulfillment. In the trait of survival, it is evident in the circumstances of humans sustaining themselves in eating & working to make money, to not die.
