As one of the teachers at school, I had the chance to observe how the awareness of students was raised. Preparing a board in the school and taking the students to Eco-Climate Summit held in Ankara made it possible to highlight the importance of a clean environment. I feel so lucky that I got the chance to work in this project. As a student I learned a lot from it. I will definitely try to reduce my carbon footprint and raise awareness. I think it was very useful for students who took part.

As a teacher at first I was afraid that the student would not be able to complete the activities in this project because off their own activities after school. However I see now how much I have been wrong and how much they really have a desire to work and change some things to reduce their carboon footprint.

I am thrilled with the project, as well as my students. Through various activities students were encouraged to take action to raise awareness about the environment. They learned how as individuals can influence the reduction of carbon footprint.

We were honored to participate in this project. Most important of all is that through the activities of this project we have become aware of the importance of energy conservation and we have reduced the carbon footprint.

I like this project because i meet other people and practice communicating with other people. I think this is good for learning and making new friends, if i had the chance, i would definitely return to this project next year. At first i was nervous because of my poor knowledge of English. We are glad to have participated in this international eTwinning project as teachers and students and to have contributed to raising the awareness of all participants about the environmental footprint. By participating in the project, students improved their use of English and developed ICT skills, built friendly and cooperative relationships, shared information about the differences and similarities of countries, traditions and customs. They learned about their own CO2 footprint and offered solutions to reduce it.
