An interesting thing I noticed was that over half of the people who took the quiz were on the liberal side of the scale. This is surprising considering that republicans won the latest US election, albeit narrowly. Could this be due to people from other nationalities taking the quiz as well or liberals spending longer online than the conservatives? Or are liberals more willing to express their ideology than conservatives?

The issue of taxation is where I differed the most from the common liberal opinion. I believe that taxing businesses increases unemployment as it cuts their financial resources needed for the business to hire more people. This therefore leads to more unemployment and a stalling economy as businesses and corporations struggle to expand. Therefore, I believe that taxing businesses increases disparity by increasing unemployment and that these taxes should be diverted on individuals instead.

I tend to believe in the Governmental function in providing the individuals equality and freedom. Government plays a significant role in the lives of individuals, and about the focus needed in improving the provision of Government aid and benefits to those in need. I believe in the constant activation in world affairs by a nation’s Government, with the presence of compromise amongst allies in foreign policies. The nation should be constantly improving their environment through the reduction of the obstacles in basic social issues of Homosexuality, role of women in the society, abortion, presence of equal positions of Blacks amongst the Whites, etc., which the Government should work towards in order to provide equal Government aid through formal regulations, in support of the minorities.

I tend to believe in the proper Government regulation of business is necessary for the protection of public interest as business companies produce a reasonable amount of profit, which can be further expressed in creating social programs for the benefit of individuals in respect to their social issues and refusing the ideology of military strength being a form of implementing peace in the world. Hence, utilizing military resources for the benefit of the community is necessary for the progressiveness of the nation. I believe that the Government Debt should be due to the cause of Government aid being provided to the required different minorities group, hence focusing on the ethicality in Government actions.

I tend to believe in the strict regulation of Law and policies towards the protection of environment as I believe that nature is a harmonious place where Government regulation is necessary in order to conserve the numerous benefits of vegetation and nature, which are being exploited due to individual economic purposes. Implementation of Environmental Law is necessary as United States of America, is currently one of the most polluting countries, wherein the need to understand the constant deterioration being caused, is due to an increase in the numbers of carbon emissions, for which the Government should focus towards the future and increasing effects over the society.

One thing that I found interesting was the presence of different types of categorization based on a scale, wherein, on the extreme left is the Solid Liberals and on the extreme right is the Core Conservatives. I wonder whether the presence of two political ideologies is segregating the nation, rather than uniting to address the different issues present in the society and is disrupting the flow of action and improvements conducted. I thought that Democrats view the nation with the presence of structural barriers being faced by minorities, and is the reason for the political ideology being Progressiveness rather than Preservation. I remained with the ideology of the presence of barriers for minority groups which is, not highly thought by ‘Liberals’. I think that Liberals believe in the numerous Government regulations, programmes and strict implementation is sufficient, in order to resolve the existing issues being faced by minorities.

I tend to believe that personal ability is the main factor of your successes and failures, because government and society has done enough to close to the disparities between race, genders, and just groups of people in general to a degree that opportunity and background is no longer a significant hurdle in a person’s career, though government still needs to further eliminate the disparities. I tend to believe that the companies makes reasonable amount of profit because of their quality as a cooperation and how efficiently they achieve their goal(selling products, producing, facilitating ad etc…). Personally I’m against ‘progressive movement that relates to ‘sexuality’ and ‘gender’ as it lacks consistency in their argument and are forcing the society to compromise a large part of a fundamental classification standard of our society for a minority part of the population.

One thing that I found interesting was how Solid Liberals was described as ‘Highly Educated’ though there are people who got categorized as that in my class that are as educated as me, so I think the site is “Biased” towards liberals, as it was the majority of the people who took the quiz. another interesting that i found is that my typography is only 11% of all the people who took the quiz,which is the second lowest in all of the typographies despite it being on the near middle of the scale. this potentially indicates that the ‘middle’ of the spectrum on the quiz is not accurate, as the middle should have been more on the left, since most people are considered or considering themselves as liberals, or it means that it categorize people in a biased way telling them that they are liberals thus making them feel resonated with the democrats,or maybe this sites is more popular with people on the left side of the spectrum.

It is interesting that my choice, supporting stricter environmental laws, is against the public and my own typography. I personally believe that morally, it is the right thing to do as the business and how wealthy you are won’t matter when the planets warm up destroying our ecosystem and potentially, our species, its an extremely ignorant and selfish thing to choose. 

17 is too little amount of questios

One thing I found interesting was that only 9% of the surveyed are Devout and Diverse. Most people tend to be either conservative or liberal, rarely in the middle. I wonder if this disparity in political opinions has increased or decreased over time. I strongly believe that the world is focusing on the disparity in different social classes and people who tend to not be in poverty or have connections they have authority over things. Also can be known as a free pass or special treatment.

An anomaly I noticed, where I differed greatly from people with similar ideology, is homosexuality. People of similar ideology tend to be against it, however I support it.I believe that people should focus more on solving the humanitarian issues. For example refugees is a humanitarian problem rather than an individual problem because refugees are forced to flee their own country which isn’t a person choice.

However, there were times when I thought that the government could be doing a little more (not in present date, but in the past), which was found that most people who have my same ideology thought the opposite. Democrats, were happy with what the government were doing 99% of the time, and thought of the government positively, as they looked at the government as a tool and a key to help solve problems.  

My typology is disaffected democrats, which mean I lean more toward the Democratic party and I’m more liberals than conservatives,  Liberals tend to believe more in equality, government, high taxes and social safety. I tend to believe that what the government are doing is good and they are tools and keys to help solve problems about the country and the society, but I also think that the government could be doing a little more help such as spend less money on the military and give it to a good social program, to the poor or some family that out of reach. 
One thing I found interesting was that when i did some research on “what is disaffected democrats?”, the result was showing that most of disaffected democrats are non-white and it also said that they “Highly financially stressed, they are the least likely to own a home”. In this statement shows that the government doesn’t really help the poor and people who have problems due to high taxes and they might be out of reach for the government. I believe that the government should look more into for needy people, even if it’s mean debt. 

 

i tend to openly encourage and enforce women empowerment through social media as well as within the community. I also strongly follow the australian government as my mum is an activist against many of their ideologies.  i believe in human rights ( women, refugees, LGTBQ community and many more), i am also pro choice and encourage body acceptance within females (as i understand body dissatisfaction). 

It is said that opportunity democrats believe that hard work is enough for most people to get ahead and that society has made the changes needed to give blacks equal rights with whites, with these two statements i would have to disagree. i believe that hard work and determination is not a guarantee for success as minorities are faced with higher (harder) challenges and obstacles which could limit the chance of success compared to those who are a a part of a majority. i also believe that society needs to continue on encouraging acceptance regards to the homosexual community (LGTBQ community), although changes have been made, more is still necessary for these minority groups. 

one thing that i found interesting was how 53% of the people who previously filled out this form said how poor people lives are easy as the government gives them benefits, as well as how 70% had said that homosexuality should be discouraged in society. this statistic confirms my last statement on how society needs to change its perspective on embracing the LGTBQ community. 

based off of this quiz (and how well i know myself and my personal believes) i would say that i have strong ideologies and i am not afraid to encourage my opinions throughout society. i often have debates with peers and within the community about my ideologies (eg: women discrimination within societies, refugee policies and homosexual rights) as i stand strongly by them as i defend the minorities and continue to fight for women's rights. 

I tend to believe that the government should help people in need and that higher taxes can help with that, although they might affect an individual's liberty. I tend to believe that big business is unfair and that the government focuses too much on helping them instead of helping people who need it, such as poor people, etc. I also believe that achieving a goal is possible if you work very hard, however, the society might show more interest to people who have more money or more connections, or might even discriminate against certain social groups such as different races or genders.

One thing I found interesting is that governments and other big industries can focus more on their self-interest than on people in need, that seems very unfair to me.

I thought that achieving a goal such as being famous or rich is possible if you work hard and don’t give up, which is different from what most people who have the same typology.

I believe issues like homosexuality, abortion etc should be viewed from a progressive and open perspective, I also believe religin is something personal and has no place in law.

I believe the government has a duty to ensure every citizen be aware and have their rights and equality, businesses shouldn’t be overall harshly regulated or taxed unless they are clearly taking advantage of the public.

I consider military strength an important part of the country and equally or maybe even more important than good diplomacy when it comes to foriegn relations as a defense is an important part of a country.

which in general means that they believe in more inequality than liberty. I am more agest the state then for it. I think that we need to tax the rich harder for then we can support the less well off people. I am also humanness I am against the death penalty. Note that this is still in the “center square” witch means that I’m a center.

one thing that I find to be interesting is that people like to stick to there labile. You have people that will follow their label and not question it. Which is very bad for politics. If we have people that think “I’m in this group that means I will follow whatever happens” is a recipe for disaster. For people and policy change, and what is good at the moment might not be good in 4 years’ time. I have a theory as to why that is. I believe that this occurs because people don’t want to hear the other side. If you look at most media today and especially in the USA, the other side is shown to be “snowflakes or uneducated”. this makes people not want to listen to the other side for who wants to talk to an uneducated conservative or a soft and delusional liberal. another reason people like to stick to there believes people have an emotional reason as to why they believe in their ideology. So being called out or to have your beliefs change will leave them to hold tighter to their beliefs, in a sense “Trenching”. 

A good way to prevent “trenching” is to separate your feeling with politics. I am not saying to get rid of your morals from politics. like in the way how we separated church and state. you can separate your feels from politics.
