         <description><![CDATA[<div>Topic:&nbsp; people getting to the goldfields</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>It is early in the morning and the people are walking to the goldfields,</div><div>When they are walking to the goldfields it is very very cold,</div><div>While they are walking there is lots of mould on the grass,</div><div>One of the men fell over and hurt him self because he had a cut on his leg.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Topic:Chinese going to the goldfields</div><div><br></div><div>When we panned for gold in the morning it would be really really really cold,</div><div>But we soon worked out it was very much worth it for the precious metal we sold,</div><div>With our loot we bought lots and lots of delicious juicy fruit,</div><div>Then a humongous cart came past and tooted the big horn.<br><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Miner In The Gold Rush</div><div><br></div><div>I couldn't stand this foul weather that was so hot.</div><div>I felt like steaming boiling water on a pot.</div><div><br></div><div>The gold licenses are so expensive it drives me mad.</div><div>And the harsh taxes that the Chinese get makes it bad.</div><div>And worst yet I have to sleep in a cot.</div><div><br></div><div>I'm alone it's obnoxious I'm petrified in my shotty crippled bed.</div><div>The broken pillow the torn up bed it's does damage to my head.</div><div><br></div><div>In the gold fields I see people who look so cool.</div><div>But me compared to the cool people I look like a fool</div><div>And even worse some one got dehydrated and now he's dead.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The mouth of defeat<br><br></div><div>Blood was in the air as the cold Sunday&nbsp; breeze blow slowly through the sky's,</div><div>As the bravest and fierce miners told their wives their last byes.</div><div>The clamour of the miners triggered the soldiers without a doubt,</div><div>The soldiers gathered their courage and marched out.</div><div>The two armies gathered a top of bakery hill as they planted their feet with pride,</div><div>They pointed their sticks, guns, bayonets at each other to signal they are no longer allied.</div><div>One side knew they were doomed Ones the first gun went off,</div><div>&nbsp;they looked down to his dying friend as they stand together to see his bloody cough.</div><div>The battle was officially on,</div><div>Australias greatest battle was now upon.</div><div>It was a pathetic riot of justice between two,</div><div>As the blood of the miners made the ground dew.</div><div>The shooting only went on for 15 minutes,</div><div>But 28 was the death limit.</div><div>The miners left their hope behind as their dropped their guns and fled the scene,</div><div>While they where retreating the soldiers were waking back to their automatic teller machine.</div><div>The war was over for good,</div><div>But we will remember for however long we should.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>The story Of Gallipoli </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The ships landed at Gallipoli and they ran to the beach, </div><div>The soldiers got hit by bullets and they laid there like a peach,</div><div>The barrels were fired and the land died, </div><div>And the soldiers were hurt and they tried to hide,   </div><div><br></div><div>The Aussies made trenches and they only thought of death, </div><div>But all they can do is hope that this is not their last breath, </div><div>The Aussies fought with pride and they always missed their old lives,</div><div>And everyday the soldiers would go to the battle field and plant the mines,</div><div><br></div><div>The machine guns fired and the bombs were ticking,</div><div>Every once in a while guns stopped and the snow was trickling,</div><div>And every night you could hear the laughter of the soldiers, </div><div>In battle the soldiers every once in a while would come across boulders,</div><div><br></div><div>Then one night the Aussies put their guns aside and left the Gallipoli land, </div><div>Then they got on the big ship, the applause erupted and the soldiers felt grand,</div><div>The Aussies stopped in Egypt and had a little relax and then it was time to leave,</div><div>They loved being away from the battle field and then they were glad to get away from the thieves,</div><div><br></div><div>They got back home and at the dock the crowd stood cheering and applauding, </div><div>When they got home the crowd cheered and the soldiers were cheering why the rain was pouring,</div><div>And it looked  like all the soldiers had come back but that's not right most of them didn't come,</div><div>They were laying dead on the ground most berried but some were left there I know war is dumb,</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>The Great Walk</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>The ragged Chinese people arrived in the great southern Australia,</strong></div><div><strong>They were very cold and they could only wear their silky Chinese clothes,</strong></div><div><strong>We were walking for days and days 420 km but we finally made it to Victoria&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>Everyone says that Australia is underrated everyone says “I suppose”.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>We made it to that great Victoria I asked everyone their names and my favourite one was Gloria,</strong></div><div><strong>We got there and everyone was shouting at us the Chinese “we oppose”,</strong></div><div><strong>The government sent us to the worst part of town we all shouted “damn you Victoria”,</strong></div><div><strong>All the people were so mean to us and all they shouted back to us was “that's the way it goes”,</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>I had a chat with other people we said “how far to go until we find gold”. &nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>But then I dug with Gloria in mud, sludge and we were starting to feel frozen,&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>All we could find was tiny little specks of gold but there was no gold left in the area,</strong></div><div><strong>As we got further and further down we were getting cold because we had no civilised clothes,</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>We finally got to an end of the land but there was no way past the barrier,</strong></div><div><strong>There were lots of different bugs and one was the mosquito which landed on my nose,&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>We saw this thing coming past and we thought it was a troop carrier,&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>They got me to the ground really quickly and stood on my toes,&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>We saw this humongous nugget and that made me much happier,&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>We got out of our hole very gradually but when we got out and there were evil crows,</strong></div><div><strong>I peaked into the window one of the rich people's carriages and there was caviar,</strong></div><div><strong>There was a guy who found the welcome nugget and we started shouting out “you’re a pro”,</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>We had all finished and gathered and there was no gold left and we all had at least one scar,</strong></div><div><strong>There was officially no gold left and at the end we threw a show,&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>We all left and there was a long way to go and it felt so far,</strong></div><div><strong>Once we got to the boat after a long walk all that was left was some dough.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong>The end</strong></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
