In "The Origin of the Moon" there is a sky world and the earth and in the sky world three people live there, two children and their father. One day the father said that he will die soon and when he does they will have to take care of the sun and when he died the boy and the girl fought over who would take care of the sun. So a man came and told the boy he would take care of the sun and the girl the moon, but they will only see each other once every year.

"The two of you did not get along. As a punishment, you will see each other once a year. For all time, you will see each other from across the sky." And so it happened. Even now it is so.

In the "Boy in the Moon" a boy prays for his tribe to kill something for them to eat, and the next day he asks his father to bring him the leader but instead his father saved it for himself and the boy began to cry for two nights. The next morning the boys father found him missing and the caribou had came back to life and ran away. The boy went to live in the moon with a bag of meat.

"As for the boy, he had gone up to the Moon, and there he is now, with one leg bigger than the other, because the right leg has pants on it. From his hand hangs a little bag full of the wrong Caribou meat, and during the Autumn and Winter, when the sky is clear, you may see him standing in the Moon."
