The Neutrality Acts was an act passed in the U.S. congress stating they were going to stay out of the war. However, they still helped through giving supplies to the Allied powers giving them an edge on the Axis powers. For America to not help would lead to Germany taking power over most of Europe

Kristallnacht 11/1938

Kristallnacht also known as The Night of Broken Glass was a horrific night for Jews in Nazi Germany. The antisemitic Nazis targeted Jewish storefronts as a whole regime went through the streets to (financially) harm these Jewish shops.

The Battle of Britain 7/1940

The Battle of Britain is an all in effort of the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) to finish the last super power in Europe who opposed them. After the concurring of France Great Britain was the only power left so Germany used there navel power to surround Great Britain and there Luftwaffe bomb small towns to big cities. But Britain's failure to give up and success at fighting in the air lead to Germany leaving and to fight Russia in the Battle of Stalingrad.

Attack of Pearl Harbor 12/1941

Oh the morning of December 7, 1941 the Japanese held an air attack on U.S's navel base Pearl Harbor using Kamikaze to dive down on the American boats causing mass casualties for the Americans. this caused America to roughly lose 3,500 personal with the big losses being aircraft carriers and other boats, and the Japanese only losing roughly 100 personal and 30 aircrafts.

Operation Reinhard 10/1941

Operation Reinhard was a secret plan of the Germans to exterminate other "lesser" humans, these consisted up of Jews, Poles, Romani, and prisoners of war from the Soviet Union. The operation set up three killing centers in which they worked to death or killed them straight up. This operation killed 1.7 million Jews. This mass killing once known by the Allied powers lead to a bigger punishment to the Axis powers.

Battle of Stalingrad 7/1942

The Battle of Stalingrad was a Battle between Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, to control Stalingrad for Germany and to take back Stalingrad for Russia. The Battle took place inside the industrial city, and had 1.5 million casualties from both sides combined. Russia winning due to Germany troops not ready for the harsh winter in Russia

D-Day 6/1944

D-Day or Dooms Day was a beach Invasion on the Nazi controlled Normandy beaches in order to get land for the possibility to take France back. the troops of D-day were a mixed group of British, Canadian, and American troops whiling to die in order to serve there country and to advance on the Germans. D-Day was a big success for the allied powers but it didn't come without big lose.

Battle of the Bulge 12/1944

The Battle of the Bulge was the last major offensive attack of the Germans against the Allied powers on the western front to reclaim German territory. This is a major turning point in the war for it marks the end of Germany's attacks forcing there surrender and end of the war in Europe.

Atomic Bombs Drop 8/1945

The attack on Pearl Harbor forced America to join the war and focus attacks on Japan and its conquered territories. After realizing it was taking a little too long they went for the knockout by dropping an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, causing lots of death in the Japanese city. After three days and no surrender, America drops a second bomb on Nagasaki which lead to Japans Surrender and end of the war.

Japan Surrenders 9/1945

With the big losses of Japan's attacks on Pearl Harbor and the atomic bombs placed on them, as well as, the complete inability to keep control of all there newly possessed islands, they had to end the war. This finally marked the end of the Second World War. The signing of there surrender meant they took all forces off of enemy soil and back home.
