I have been teaching at my school (Campus Redingenhof, Leuven) for 16 years. For the better part I only taught English, however, since last year I have started teaching German again as well. European project work has been on my plate ever since I started working there and I love it. Our school has four different fields: sports & top sports / commerce & tourism / care & publicity / industry & mechanism. Our campus houses part-time eduation and a boarding school as well. I live in between Leuven and Brussels with my girlfriend and our three kids. I'm a very smiley person, a bit over-enthusiastic sometimes, a work addict, a language, food and coffee lover, ... Roncalli in Manfredonia, a town on the south-east coast of Italy. I  registered on etwinning platform in 2005 and I realized several projects to let students improve their language skills and develop their european awareness. My students (14/19) are interested in art, music, cinema, literature, traditions and social life. I believe Etwinning can help students to develop their communicative abilities, enhance their ICT skills and creativity. In my free time (?) I like reading and writing. I published two collections of poems, a novel and my next one will be released in 2018. I've been a teacher for 27 years. When I started teaching, I taught English and German, but now I only teach English and it's been this way for more than 17 years. I've been teaching at my school (Escola Secundária de Santa Maria, Sintra, Portugal) for 20 years. I had also studied there. 
Our school has about 1800 students. We have academic courses of science, economics, languages/humanities and visual arts and professional courses of arts and performances, tourism, tecnical health care, psychosocial care and photovoltaic systems. We also have some courses running in the evening.

I teach Visual Arts at Secondary School Santa Maria in Sintra – Portugal. I’ve been teaching since 1987 and I enjoy very much doing so, specially the human experience of dealing with students and devise ways to perfect their skills and enlarge their horizons as future professionals and human beings. I think that getting to know each other better (students, teachers and people in general from different countries and cultures) is one of the best actions we can take to build the better world we all want.
